Aventura Spa Palace Continues
This trip to the Aventura Spa Palace was in late March of 2002. A greatly needed, do nothing vacation, for just the two of us. We chose the Aventura Spa Palace again. Being adults only, we new we would be safe from any of the crazy spring breakers. We were just looking for piece and quiet this time, the only plans we made were to visit the ruins of Coba, spend time checking out the new Spa Palace, right next door , and spending a day at the Xphu Ha Palace just 15 minutes away.
Decision, right again. The Aventura Spa Palace was more beautiful than we remembered. Trees and foliage had filled in and grown taller. Being spring, instead of fall, there were many more flowers in blossom than before.
Around the third day we wandered over to check out the Spa Palace. Totally unbelievable!!! They have left out NOTHING, for a completely pampered, relaxing, and revitalizing time of your life. Magnificent is the only way to describe it. Every spa therapy, treatment or massage you could ever want is available. Rock climbing for the brave, obstacle course and expansive gym for the seriously energetic. The grounds include an ancient French Labyrinth and Chinese Meditation garden.
We spent our last two days getting some exercise at the cross current pool and enjoying the waterfall beat on our shoulders. Lounging in the sun with a good book was heaven and with one of the inlets of the ocean just a few yards away, a swim in the salt water was a great way to cool off. Then, with just a short walk, there was the indoor pool with underwater music, and 3 Jacuzzis, One, extremely hot, one hot and the middle one was cold. All this with a cold drink and a friendly smile and a piece of heaven right here on earth.! (Upgraded our membership to include unlimited golf.)
