EK BALAM - VALLADOLID

Discover the unique archaeological site of Ek-Balam, known as the City of the Black Jaguar". Its completely new architecture style and design make it a place different from any other place. Visit the most relevant structure on the site, "The Acropolis" which has been explored and restored since 1997. After a 1 hour tour to Ek-Balam, we will head for the city of Valladolid. Founded on the site of an ancient Mayan City, this attractive City boasts a glorious colonial past that can still be seen in its beautiful architecture. Be ready for a visit to the Museum and the San Gervacio Cathedral. Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet at a typical restaurant in Valladolid named "Cenote Zaci" (Zaci well) and get some of the beautiful handicrafts that can be found on the streets surrounded the main square.
