Wander down to the sandy inlet were you'll find paddle boats and kayaks to explore the inlet. Snorkel right from the sandy beach at the hotel- a few flutter kicks to the rocky ledge and you'll be part of a rich world of brightly colored fish of the Caribbean. Many of these fish can also be spotted in early morning as you walk along the sandy waters edge. The lava rock reef separates the ocean and the sandy inlet provides a shelter for the sea life to inhabit.
Aventura Spa Palace is just north of the newly opened Xpu-ha Palace. This combination of two Palace Resorts closely located together washes away any concerns you may have about getting bored with one theme or resort. Xpu-Ha, a bungalow style resort situated within an eco park is located about 10 minutes south of the Aventura Spa Palace. Guests may use the complimentary shuttle to Xpu-Ha Palace or a taxi service is also available from hotel to hotel for approximately $6.00 per taxi. Be sure to visit the extraordinary beach, snorkel the Cenotes or take the wonderful tours guided by very well informed and educated park guides.
