Miami, Florida, November 3, 2008- Today, with the focus on the environment, sustainable resources and the drive to reduce our carbon footprint, the task of “saving the planet” has now become everyone’s responsibility. With 11 high-end all-inclusive properties located throughout Cancún, the Riviera Maya, Cozumel, Riviera Nayarit, and Punta Cana, Palace Resorts, the company that set the standard in five-star, all-inclusive resort accommodations, is now making the move to also be environmentally friendly, as well as give back to the community. Below are some steps the company is taking to make their resorts more environmentally friendly:
Palace Resorts Environmental Committee In an effort to preserve natural resources and provide more green areas throughout all of its resorts, Palace Resorts has created an environmental committee, “Comité Ambiental Palace Resorts”, whose mission is to prevent and control pollution and degradation of the environment through the efficient use of the resources with the objective of sustainable development.
To that end, the committee will work with all the resorts to educate personnel on caring for the environment, reduce the amount of waste and trash generated, promote the purchase of environmentally friendly products, implement a recycling and trash sorting program to reduce waste, regulate emissions from all the resorts to reduce their carbon output, administer a series of “green areas” at all the properties, implement the use of “green signs”, which include the original names and descriptions of the flora currently planted, and much, much more.
Based on the success of this program, Xpu-Ha Palace has already been awarded Certificado de Calidad Ambiental Turística, (certificate for environmental quality in tourism) from Mexico’s protection environmental agency - PROFEPA (Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente) for complying with the environmental regulations. It is the goal of Palace Resorts to have nine resorts receive this certification by the end of this year.
Paperless Technology In an effort to reduce the amount of paper used, Palace Resorts has invested in state-of-the-art electronic technology and posted electronic schedule boards throughout all of the resorts, thus eliminating the use of printed schedules. Additionally, Palace Resorts offers online reservation and confirmation of all accommodations, as well as an online resource where guests can book tours, rental cars, tee times and spa treatments.
Saving EnergyPalace Resorts has made it a priority to conserve resources, not only in the public spaces, but also in all the rooms at many of its resorts. Over the last two years, the company has been working to install state-of the art “light switches” that are triggered by inserting your room key. When the room key is inserted in the provided slot, the lights and the air conditioning in all the rooms can be controlled individually. However, when the room key is removed, everything turns off, thus reducing the expenditure of electricity.
Reuse & Renew With 11 all-inclusive resorts and more than 6,000 rooms brand-wide, Palace Resorts has implemented a linen reuse program that reduces its carbon footprint and the use of natural resources.
Giving BackOver the last two years, Palace Resorts has implemented a system where all the unused food at its restaurants is donated to local food banks and shelters throughout the regions where they operate. Through this program, Palace has not only reduced waste but has helped feed the less fortunate in its communities.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Palace Resorts has made the commitment to reduce its use of bottled water throughout all of their resorts. To this end, the company has installed a state-of-the-art water filtration system at each of its properties that will not only reduce its dependency on bottled water but also help the resort irrigate the grounds. However, in the instances when bottled water is preferred, Palace Resorts provides 1 ½ liter bottles as opposed to ½ liter bottles in effort to provide additional servings and cut down on the accumulated waste from the single serve containers. Furthermore, with the consent of event organizer, Palace Resorts is working to provide pitchers of water versus water bottles during all event coffee breaks. Lastly, to further reduce waste, Palace Resorts is working to implement a comprehensive recycling program throughout all of the resorts.
Saving Indigenous Wildlife Palace Resorts is pleased to support an integral protection sea turtle program that is working to establish protection efforts along the 7 miles of beach on the coast of Quintana Roo state. In three camp sites located at Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort, Cancun Palace, Beach Palace and Sun Palace, that have been specifically authorized by the SEMARNAT (Mexico’s Environmental and Natural Resources Agency), Palace Resorts has protected 117,676 sea turtle eggs since the programs conception in 2005. The purpose of the program is to not only preserve and protect the eggs that sea turtles come to shore to lay, but to also provide environmental education, training, investigation and continuously evaluation of this majestic creature and work together so that they may carry on and thrive for years to come.
Palace Resorts’ “Green Thumb”
In effort to enrich and establish “green areas” that are representative of the natural vegetation throughout all of the Palace properties, Palace Resorts has established several environmentally friendly nurseries at the Centro de Distribución Palace (Distribution Center) with approximately 200,000 indigenous plants that represent a cross section of species collected from the jungle, wetlands, mangroves and coastal dunes. This distribution center offers several services, including acting as a temporary home to local plants that are relocated during construction or renovation of properties, a cultivation center used to nurture replacement plants to those that become damaged or unhealthy and to offer a base of operation where the Palace team of gardeners can work to repair and foster the future health of natural vegetation, coastal thickets, mangroves and dunes that serving as natural barriers in event of storms and hurricanes.

United, they embrace the energy of the four vital elements - - earth, air, water and fire - - and show their respect for Mother Earth as they are joined in spiritual harmony.
The ceremony of the Blessing of the Mayan Gods package is performed on the beach with the couple at the center of a circle that is made up of their family and friends. The event is richly steeped in symbolism to represent deep suited feelings like union, abundance, commitment, movement, desire, joy and happiness.
Rates range from $188 - $229 per room/per night, depending upon season and specific resort.

Miami, Florida, October 23, 2006 - Sheets, towels, china, flatware. what do they all have in common? These items are among the traditional wedding gifts that are both generous and appreciated by the happy couple, but also not very exciting. Gift givers can now shake things up and give their favorite couple a luxurious massage for two overlooking the Caribbean Sea, an all day snorkel trip to the second largest barrier reef in the world or many other exciting gifts to choose from.
Palace Resorts, the company that set the standard in five-star, all-inclusive resort accommodations, is offering couples the chance to take their registry, and their honeymoon, to the next level through the exclusive Honeymoon Bridal Registry. Couples who book their honeymoon with Palace Resorts can create a trip of a lifetime by registering for a host of customized amenities, spa services and tours that are available at all the Palace Resorts' properties.
"When a new couple gets married, their wedding is one of the most memorable and special moments of their lives," said Maira Briceno, Director of Marketing for Palace Resorts. "At Palace Resorts, we believe that feeling should also apply to the honeymoon. By giving couples the opportunity to experience activities they have only dreamed of, simply by registering with the Honeymoon Bridal Registry, we are handing them the tools to create a honeymoon they will remember forever."
To create a honeymoon registry, couples log onto www.palaceresorts.com and click on the "Honeymoon Bridal Registry" link. From here, they will be taken to the "Honeymoon Wishes" website and the fun begins. The process works just like a gift registry, but, instead of choosing a place setting for china, couples can select such options as an "Exciting Tour" or a "Soothing Spa Treatment" as a honeymoon gift. The registered items are then posted on a customized webpage that is easily accessed by family and friends.
As gifts are purchased by friends and family, the couple will receive an email notice to view the custom gift card that was filled out by the gift giver. The couple then has the option to collect the gift right away or wait and collect the gifts all at one time. If they choose to wait, the couple will receive a gift confirmation notice and instructions on how to collect the gifts five-days prior to the wedding, the day before the wedding and as gifts come in following the wedding.

Miami, Florida, August 29, 2006 - Palace Resorts, the company that set the standard in five-star, all-inclusive resort accommodations, is proud to introduce two new games to its "Meetings Games" website.
Earlier this summer, the company introduced its unique website, www.palacemeetingsgame.com, where meeting planners are invited to learn about the resort's state of the art meeting facilities, spas and golf courses while playing a series of entertaining games. Along with the website launch came the release of the first two games in the five part series, "Golf Cart Rally" and "The Puzzler."
The third featured game is called "Pirates of the Last Resort". Here, meeting planners must rescue their clients from captivity aboard the "Black Berry" ship of archrival Canary Jill. Meeting planners must use their mouse to maneuver their ship across an enemy infested sea from Playacar Palace to Cozumel Palace in order to save their captured clients. Victory is achieved after battling through four giant octopus, several enemy ships, destroying the sought after "Black Berry" of Canary Jill and safely recovering the hostages.
The fourth game is called, "Tulum Raider: City of the Dawn". Following the dramatic rescue of the clients, the meeting planner's ship crashes on a deserted shore. Stranded and scavenging for food, it is discovered that the sinister Canary Jill is causing chaos again, this time stealing the blue prints for Palace Resort's future addition in the Dominican Republic. In desperate search of this "valuable treasure," the meeting planner, accompanied by the clients, enters deserted ruins and is encountered by a talking stone head named Olmec. By answering 10 questions presented by Olmec in Mayan hieroglyphics, the meeting planner obtains an item that will aid the group in escaping the island. The questions, however, can only be answered after the three pieces of the "Tulum Codex", an item that deciphers the hieroglyphics, are retrieved through exploration of the surrounding two temples. Planners can use their mouse to click on the different temples until they have found all three pieces of the Codex.
"Meeting planners are a crucial market for us," said Ginny Davito, Vice President, Group and Incentive Sales for Palace Resorts. "These games are a unique way to continue the education process in a fun, yet informative way."
The fifth and final game will be introduced on September 22, 2006. The game will bring forth a new theme and be loosely based on the topography, amenities and features of another Palace Resorts property. Throughout the game, the meeting planner will once again be educated on the available meeting offerings customized specifically for the Palace property they are exploring.
Every qualified meeting and incentive planner that registers on the site and successfully plays all five games will receive a free two-night stay for two at any Palace Resort property and be entered in a drawing for the grand prize of an all expense paid, seven-night Palace vacation for two. In addition, five winners will be selected after each game for special Palace Resort prizes, like a free round of golf or a complimentary spa treatment. All prizes, as well as the grand prize, will be announced in October.

Le Blanc Spa Resort Debuts in Cancun
MIAMI, FL - August 1, 2005- Palace Resorts is proud to announce the opening of its
new luxury hotel, Le Blanc Spa Resort , an upscale, adults-only property in the heart of
Cancún, Mexico.
This premier destination resort was created for the discerning traveler by one of
Mexico's most celebrated designers and is just moments away from the area's exciting
attractions. From the finest haute cuisine to a lavish first-class spa, Le Blanc Spa
Resort was designed for those who demand the very best in life. The resort's contemporary
minimalist-style décor that is touched with tropical and Mexican elements creates a
stylish yet exotic ambiance found only in world-class resorts.
"Le Blanc Spa Resort is the answer to the demand of the growing upscale market in Cancún,"
said Roberto Chapur, president of Palace Resorts. "Le Blanc will attract sophisticated
travelers seeking a luxurious, all-inclusive alternative that will revitalize their
vacation experience and exceed their expectations."
Le Blanc Spa Resort is the former Hotel Sierra Cancún, which was acquired by Palace
Resorts and closed on August 29, 2004 for a complete renovation. Palace then transformed
all of the 260 guest rooms into luxury suites, most with ocean views and all with double
Jacuzzis, and added a state-of-the-art 29,000 square-foot spa, over 10,000 square feet
of modern meeting facilities, and four specialty restaurants that feature cuisine from
around the world. The renovations were directed by Elias & Elias Arquitectos, one of
the most celebrated architect and interior design firms in Mexico.
One of the property's most special features is The Spa at Le Blanc where the theme of
tranquility prevails throughout the exquisite, elegantly appointed and soothing
architectural design. Here, guests can unwind in their own personal sanctuary and
discover the ultimate space for their total well-being. The Spa Suites feature private
bamboo gardens, elegant wood and marble floors and floating lagoon pavilions that
together create an exotic yet luxurious setting. The Deluxe Master Spa Suites offer
the latest technology in hydrotherapy tubs for unforgettable underwater massages.
The Spa at Le Blanc also includes five outdoor couple suites that face the Nichpute
Lagoon and offer breathtaking views of the calm water. But, the ultimate pampering can
be found at the unique Le Blanc D'Or Spa Suite. This one-of-a-kind suite features its
own sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi and excels in lavish comfort with its subtleness,
yet speaks of the finer things in life through its sophistication.
In addition to the spectacular settings and premium product line featuring Phytomer and
Decleor of Paris , the Spa at Le Blanc offers a myriad of holistic therapies that
create an inner balance and restore one's natural state of equilibrium, soothe away
the stresses of modern day life and allow guests to surrender to ancient healing rituals
of fragrant oils, aromatic herbs and spices. While at the Spa, guests can embark on a
sensorial voyage through the four elements of nature with the signature Le Blanc Water
Journey. Le Blanc's trained staff escorts guests through a guided hydrotherapy routine
that begins with "Salus per Aquam," is a traditional water ritual created by the ancient
Romans that was based on alternating heat and cool phases followed by relaxation and
hydration. This 40 or 60-minute treatment is initiated with a revitalizing shower
that is immediately followed by a detoxifying herbal steam or dry sauna. Guests are
then treated to a cool pressure shower and a relaxing soak in one of Le Blanc's many
whirlpools. The treatment is concluded with a comforting pressure shower and a spa
treatment of their choice.
Other signature treatments include the Theraputic Bamboo Leaf Massage that entices
guests to float away to another dimension as they indulge in this multi-dimensional
massage that stimulates vital energy centers to release tension and increase the
circulation. The treatment includes such techniques as acupressure, reflexology,
body stretching and lomi lomi, to achieve a deep therapeutic effect. The Spa at
Le Blanc also offers the Steam Vichy Rain treatment that begins with a soothing body
exfoliant and the application of an aromatic body mask that elicits an extreme feeling
of relaxation. The treatment continues with a soothing steam that assists the body in
absorbing the healing benefits of the mask. The treatment concludes with a refreshing
Vichy Rain spray over the entire body in the comfort of the spa's state-of-the-art
relaxing thermal capsule.
Other special features of Le Blanc Spa Resort include three outdoor pools, two of
which are infinity pools, complete with two swim-up bars, as well as lit tennis courts.
In addition, the resort features a fully-equipped fitness center that offers a complete
line of Life Fitness equipment and scheduled yoga, pilates, Tai boxing and
Tai Chi classes.
The luxury of Le Blanc continues with the world-class haute cuisine that can be found
in the resort's four gourmet restaurants. The cuisine runs the gamut from Asian
delicacies that can be found at Blancorient, to Mediterranean fare at Blancitalia.
To cap off the perfect evening, the resort offers the Blancstage where guests can
continue to unwind while listening to the sounds of relaxing music along with their
favorite drink.
When it's time to retire for the evening, Le Blanc is sure to please. From the elegant
décor that lushly drapes the suite in the soothing color white, to the luxurious
Jacuzzi built for two to the fully stocked in-room liquor dispenser that offers such
premium night caps as Absolute Vodka , Johnny Walker Black label , Ron Baccardi Blanco ,

of their every desire. To prove that point, the resort also offers six varieties of
pillows on their "Pillow Menu" that range between the "Lavender Pillow," which ensures
